I made a thread about this before, but it vanished along with the old TODudes forum.

I think this gun should be allowed, because its only another gun, and if we're all the "experienced" players that some of us claim to be, then it should be simple to kill somone with an M4. (unless its hacked of course)

Lets look at the pro's and con's of this gun.

Pros

-Has a grenade launcher with an effective blast-radius.
-It is more accurate than the standard M4, has less recoil and more powerful rounds.
-Thats about it....

Cons

-The grenade launcher takes at least 3 seconds to reload after each grenade, at this point the user of the weapon is vunerable even if he/she switches fire mode.
-It costs $10,000 so you arent going to enounter this often, unless someone runs around collecting special items.
-Can only be purchased by Special Forces.

Another thing that confuses me is that on levels like Ressurection where Terrorists have access to the OICW, which I might add, can fire 4 consecutive grenades, its perfectly okay for them to use it.

Anyway, just wanted to see peoples thoughts on this.

The big problem with that nade launcher is that you automaticly gonna have a lot of teamkills. They see the enemy, panic, shoot and take 2 or 3 friends with the enemy.
The M4 is also only for the very best players. only they can raise enough money. and with an M 4 theyre allmoast invinsible seen the range they can launch.

So I vote NO

Hm M4 is not fair for Terror players because they dont have such a weapon. And OICW levels are not fair either because well there's only one OICW. And the OICW can also be taken in the first few rounds when sf only have silly little guns Shocked

You're right Pencil. M4 should be allowed.Because it doesnt make a player undestroyable. I think many people vote for m4 user cause they just afraid Wink

Usually i would say: M4 is okay...its just a normal weapon, BUT:

The fact is, there are too many cheats to make this gun unfair like no reload and ammo hack (or something like) and so it produces a lot of teamkill(s;ers) and thats a big problem!

I must aggre with pencil thet m4 schood be allowed same like m60. Those are powerfull guns and only good player know how to us it well. And problem with cheaters Evil or Very Mad

...Wchen we have cheater on serwer hes cheatin with m4 or without it so its dosnt resolve the problem. Beside i wont to kick some asses with m4 Twisted Evil
