Ok I was just looking for a server to play on when I saw a 2.2 Server with a date and time to play each other. So my question is why don't we do the same? Start a Todudes server and everyone connects there at a certain time on a certain day. We could get a Red And Blue team or whatever team and keep points of who wins and how many times they win. I guess this would be kind of like a League. But it could create a spark of EXTREME fun back into 3.3.2. We could password protect the server to keep unwanted cheaters out, and if we need to send the password through Personal Messages we can thx to Lion. Very Happy

But its just a thought, Tell me what you guys think and if you want to set this up or not.

Allthough I m scared I wan t be able to play that often with my nightshift and kids in the weekends, I think Its a great idea.
But will you be able too make a server where we have ping like on leiki?

Perhaps you can make it a capture the flag game? Rolling Eyes

Um I don't have Tactical Flags game. That comes with version 3.4, and as far as pings go, they should be a bit better. We had a guy come and fix our phone line so lagg should be alot better, and I am also buying a better processor and computer. AMD 3500+ and i will over clock to maybe 2.75 GHZ(A 2.75GHZ Amd is equal to a Intel P4 @ like 4.9GHZ). So everyone check out my server and let me know what lagg is like. As far as pings go I dunno if they will drop that far down. I am from Midwest USA and everone else is from the other side of the world. So they should drop some but probably not too much. However, lagg should be gone though regardless of ping after my new CPU. Razz

And if all else fails Tipsbirds usually keep the TOdudes server up. Maybe we could use their server if it turns out everyone hates their pings on my server. If more people (like 6 or more) decide this is a definate GO then we will post a day and a Time and assign people Teams (Terr. or SF). I am excited because if we pull this off we would have SOOOOO much better games. Possibly eliminate all unwanted cheats and could have a ripple affect and bring alot of excitment and Good players back out. Just like when the Eastcoast server was always packed with good people. It would surprise me if you didn t find enough people. All say they hate cheaters so much, so this is a great opportunity to have a great game with friends and none cheaters. Normaly your server can t handle the number of non cheaters. lol. (If it s true what they say and don t cheat. Rolling Eyes

How many players can your server handle? 32 like on some 3.5 servers? Rolling Eyes

lol ok, I believe my server is regular 16 MAX but for now I am trying to make sure my internet connection is good. I should have my new computer hopefully within the next few weeks (1-2 wks). And face do you want me to send you TOST 4? Its not the best but it will do a decent job. I could even send you a copy of my TacticalOps.ini so TOST install will be easy. Wink

But only if you want it.

You know you can update the mod version to 3.40 right? You can't get into all the servers (because its apparently not allowed) but it might be good enough for a Tactical Flags match.

(The way you do it is you run regedit from your start menu, find TO, its in Microsoft>>Windows>>Current Version I think, add a new line and call it InstallLocation type in where you want it installed, preferebly in a new file so you can copy the files from there.
I suggest making a copy of your Unreal Tournament folder and updating TO in there so you have both versions!) Laughing
